Udi has completed his M.Sc studies in Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute, under the supervision of Professor Aviezri Fraenkel. His research area is Combinatorial Games and Number Theory. Udi has recently joined IMBM. At IMBM he is involved in Mathematical modeling of improved Interleukin-21 treatment schedules and in identifying new cancer therapy concepts.
Scientific activity in 2007
- During December 2007, Udi has written a Matlab program for the optimization of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models of Interleukin-21 and has investigated optimal administration strategies for this drug (in cooperation with Moran Elishmereni).
Work program for 2008
- Udi is involved in developing a mathematical model of drug delivery to cancer stem cells. This project is carried out within IMBM’s EU-NEST research project “Developing a virtual and molecular control board for diverting cancer stem cell to non-malignance”
